Discover the Healing Power of Breathwork

About Us

At Amorevitae, I believe that every breath is an opportunity to heal, reconnect, and create positive change. Through guided breathwork, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can slow down, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself.

Whether you're looking to reduce stress, ease anxiety, improve your wellbeing, or simply find a moment of calm in a busy world, each session is designed to meet you exactly where you are. No previous experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to breathe.

The Power of Conscious Breathwork

A pathway back to yourself

At AmoreVitae, breathwork is about more than simply breathing differently.

Through conscious, rhythmic breathing, music and guided practices, we use the breath as a powerful tool to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, release what you’ve been holding onto and create space for something new.

I draw upon SOMA Breath® techniques alongside my own AmoreVitae approach, creating experiences designed to feel supportive, uplifting and deeply connected.

The Power of Rhythm

At AmoreVitae, I use SOMA breathwork methods within my practice. By combining conscious rhythmic breathing with specially designed music and guided meditation, each session gently guides you into a state of calm, clarity and connection.

Breathing in rhythm helps quiet the mind, regulate the nervous system and create space to reconnect with yourself. Whether you're seeking relaxation, renewed energy or emotional balance, the breath becomes a powerful tool for transformation.

Inner pharmacy

Your body has an incredible natural ability to restore balance. Through conscious breathwork, you can gently influence how you feel, creating space for calm, clarity, focus and renewed energy.

Your Inner Pharmacy reminds us that many of the resources we need already exist within us—the breath simply helps unlock them.

From Stress to Connection

In the busyness of everyday life, it's easy to become disconnected from yourself. Conscious breathwork encourages you to slow down, regulate your nervous system and return to the present moment.

By creating space to pause and breathe, you can reconnect with your body, quiet the mind and cultivate a greater sense of balance and inner peace.

What Are Our Customers Saying ?

“I had the best night’s sleep after the class! I normally only sleep about two hours a night, so it was amazing. I hope it wasn’t just a one-off — I can’t wait for the next session!”

Una

“I initially dismissed breathwork completely. I thought, ‘I already know how to breathe!’ But after a few weeks of consistently showing up to Ash’s sessions, I’m beginning to understand just how powerful breathwork can be.

Today’s session was probably the most powerful I’ve experienced yet. Afterwards, I felt lighter physically, emotionally and mentally — almost like my whole nervous system exhaled for the first time in a long time.

Old childhood memories surfaced, and instead of pushing them away, I finally felt safe enough to gently sit with them and heal that part of myself.

Sometimes the most powerful medicine isn’t adding more force. It’s finally feeling safe enough to soften.

Thank you, Ash, for holding such a beautiful space. If breathwork has been calling you lately, I genuinely recommend exploring her membership.” 💜

Laura J

I’ve experienced breathwork many times before, but AmoreVitae felt completely different. Using a blindfold and headphones allowed me to shut out everything around me and really go inward, creating a much more private, focused and immersive experience. Combined with the music, rhythmic breathing and Ash’s guidance, I was able to fully lose myself in the journey. I came away feeling calm, clear and completely reset.

FAQS

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is the conscious use of different breathing patterns to influence how you feel. At AmoreVitae, sessions combine guided breathing, rhythm, music and moments of stillness to help you slow down, reconnect and become more present.

What is SOMA Breath?

SOMA Breath® is one of the breathwork methods I use within AmoreVitae. It combines rhythmic breathing with specially created music, guided breath holds and meditation to create an immersive breathwork experience

Do I need any experience??

Not at all. You don't need to know how to meditate or have any previous breathwork experience. You'll be guided throughout the session and encouraged to follow the practice at your own pace. SOMA similarly describes its introductory experience as requiring no previous experience or equipment.

Why do you use music?

Rhythm is at the heart of the SOMA Breath method. Purpose-created music provides the pace for the breathing, allowing you to follow the sound rather than concentrating on counting each breath.

What might I feel during a session?

Everyone's experience is different. You may feel deeply relaxed, energised, emotional, peaceful or simply more connected to yourself. Some people also experience physical sensations such as warmth or tingling during breathwork. There is no "right" experience and no pressure to feel anything in particular.

Can breathwork help me relax?

Many people use conscious breathing as a way to slow down, quiet the mind and create a greater sense of calm and connection. Experiences vary, so at AmoreVitae I prefer to invite you to discover how the practice feels for you, rather than promise a particular outcome.

What are breath holds?

Some practices include short, guided periods where you comfortably pause your breathing. These are introduced gradually and you're always encouraged to listen to your body rather than push yourself.

Is breathwork safe for everyone?

Breathwork practices can be powerful and aren't appropriate for everyone. Certain SOMA techniques, particularly those involving breath retention, require additional caution for some health conditions, and SOMA advises participants to follow guidance and practise at their own pace. If you're pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication or are unsure whether breathwork is appropriate for you, please speak with your healthcare professional and let me know before participating. Breathwork should never be practised while driving or in water.

Is breathwork a replacement for medical or psychological treatment?

No. AmoreVitae breathwork is offered as a wellbeing practice and isn't a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or mental-health care. SOMA Breath also explicitly advises seeking guidance from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional about medical conditions.

What should I bring to a session?

Come in comfortable clothing and bring some water. For added comfort, you’re welcome to bring a mat, pillow, blanket and eye mask so you can fully relax and settle into the experience.

If you’re joining an online journey, I also recommend using a headset or headphones so you can immerse yourself in the music and guided breathwork without distractions.

Most importantly, come with an open mind. Everything will be explained, and you’ll be guided throughout the experience.

About me

Hi,

I’m Ash, founder of AmoreVitae

For over 24 years, I worked within the beauty industry, helping people feel confident and good about themselves.

My journey later expanded into personal training, where I began looking beyond how we appear on the outside and became passionate about movement, strength and supporting ourselves from within.

Over the years, my passion has evolved into something much bigger — helping people not only feel better today, but supporting a lifestyle that promotes wellbeing, vitality and longevity.

That journey led me to breathwork and ultimately to AmoreVitae, where I bring together my experience, passion for wellbeing and practices such as breathwork to help people slow down, reconnect with themselves and create positive habits they can carry into everyday life.

For me, longevity isn’t simply about adding years to your life — it’s about adding more life to your years.

AmoreVitae means “Love of Life,” and that's exactly what I want to inspire: to feel well, live fully and embrace more of the life we have.
